What We Do

We bridge the gap between literature and accessibility by creating high-quality audio books and providing them free of charge to visually impaired individuals. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to the transformative power of books.

Through our dedicated community of volunteers, we've created an extensive library that continues to grow every day.

"A book is a dream that you hold in your hands. We make sure that dream reaches everyone, regardless of their ability to see the written word."
— Voice of Books Foundation

Our Goal

To create a free audio book library for visually impaired individuals, especially students, that will help career development.

We envision a world where every book is available in audio format, where technology and human compassion work together to create an inclusive reading experience.

Statistical Facts

India has one of the highest disability rates globally (2.2%) but also some of the lowest education rates among disabled people, with 40% never attending school and 55% remaining illiterate.

In West Bengal and Tripura, despite being among the top states with significant disabled populations, they rank in the bottom 15 for formal education access for disabled children.

Our initiative aims to bridge this gap by making literature accessible to everyone.

Challenges We Address

Limited Accessibility

Braille printing is costly, making it difficult for many visually impaired individuals to access essential reading materials.

Scarce Resources

Audiobooks for higher education are hard to find, preventing many visually impaired students from progressing academically.

Low Investment

Investments to improve the careers of the visually impaired have been scarce, limiting many students' potentials.
